Winchester Green
Urban logistics for a 283-unit community in New Haven
About
About this project
Winchester Green is a 283-unit community built on a constrained New Haven site, requiring a material partner that could keep deliveries flowing without overwhelming the surrounding streets.
We collaborated with the general contractor to stage, package, and deliver materials by building, floor, and unit so install teams always had what they needed without stockpiling excess inventory on site.
With a disciplined logistics plan in place, Winchester Green maintained turnover dates and kept install teams productive despite the limited laydown area.
- Tight coordination with the GC to align deliveries with each trade's schedule
- Unitized and labeled interior trim, doors, and hardware for quick put-away
- Established off-site buffering to reduce on-site storage requirements
- Provided daily logistics check-ins to keep the project moving around city traffic windows
- Project scale
- 283 units across two buildings
- Scope
- Doors, frames, hardware, interior trim, material logistics
